His experience includes:
- A listed mining company in relation to the defence of a class action brought in the High Court in London on behalf of 2000 members of a Zambian community alleging environmental claims
- Bharti Airtel in defence of a claim in excess of US$4bn relating to its business in Nigeria. The dispute includes an international arbitration and court proceedings in several jurisdictions including Nigeria
- Gazprom in relation to the conduct of successful Commercial Court and Court of Appeal proceedings relating to the partial collapse of a rig hired by it and located off the coast of India, with sums in dispute of US$40 million
- Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation plc (ENRC) in relation to the US$2 billion damages claim by First Quantum regarding ENRC's acquisition of an interest in the Kolwezi Tailings Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo
