Nina specialises in dispute resolution, with a focus on commercial litigation, corporate crime investigations and modern slavery advisory.
Nina has experience in advising clients in compliance, regulatory and investigatory matters. Nina has previously advised clients on a range of large scale matters, including confidential and highly sensitive investigations, cross-border disputes and global risk and compliance programs for clients across various sectors, including government, financial services and insurance, consumer, TMT, energy, and pharmaceutical.
Prior to joining the Tokyo office of Herbert Smith Freehills, Nina practised as an associate at a global law firm in Sydney.
Nina is passionate about the intersection between the law and business human rights and has previously assisted a number of clients in conducting their human rights due diligence. Nina also has extensive experience in providing clients with modern slavery advice, including assisting clients with risk assessments of their operations and supply chain, as well as preparing their Australian modern slavery statements.
In addition to her day-to-day legal work, Nina is enthusiastic about increasing diversity and inclusion, and is a member of the firm's GEM (Gender Equity Matters) Network.

Nina holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales and Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Macquarie University, Sydney.
Nina is admitted to practise as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
