Olivia is a trade mark specialist who particularly enjoys assisting clients with their international brand strategy, protection, enforcement and brand management.

Olivia is the lead senior lawyer for trade mark portfolios of a variety of leading Australian and international brands. Her day to day work involves all aspects of strategic trade mark advice and management including conducting and advising on brand clearance checks, addressing registrability and infringement issues, filing to registration of trade marks in Australia and overseas, trade mark watches, oppositions across various countries, negotiating on behalf of clients, and long term care of a range of international trade mark portfolios. 

Her clients are from diverse industries including in the FMCG (food, beverages and ingredients amongst others), telecommunications, transportation, construction and fashion sectors.

Olivia’s portfolio management includes assisting large complex businesses which own numerous trade marks across a range of autonomous subsidiary businesses in various countries.

Background

Olivia holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, plus from the University of Technology Sydney a Master of Laws (specialising in intellectual property).
