Ike Papageorge

Ike has significant experience in valuing IP and using IP as a commercial asset. He advises clients on trade mark registration and prosecution, trade mark portfolio management, and clearance work for advertising and promotional campaigns.

With a practice developed over 30 years to cover all aspects of trademarks, consultant Ike is “responsive, knowledgeable and thorough” – WTR 1000.

Background

Ike holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of South Africa, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Pretoria. He is qualified to practise in England and Wales, South Africa and Australia.

Before joining Freehills in 2006, Ike spent 18 years as a partner in a leading South African intellectual property firm.
