Inigo’s practice centres on the resolution of complex disputes in all key fora (arbitration, court litigation, adjudication and mediation), with a particular focus the arbitration, both domestic and international. He has a wide range of experience working in different sectors, with significant experience in resolving disputes in construction, oil and gas, and infrastructure. He also has a particular interest in legal issues regarding indigenous rights and climate change.

Background

Inigo is dual-qualified in New Zealand and Australia. He was admitted to the High Court of New Zealand in 2016 and began his career at a pre-eminent dispute resolution boutique, before being admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2019 and obtaining his Master of Laws (Honours) from the University of Melbourne.

Inigo has authored several articles on arbitration-related issues, including the application of Māori indigenous law in arbitral proceedings.
