Kate is an Associate in the firm's corporate practice with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Kate has experience advising public and private sector clients on international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, project finance and development and on regulatory and corporate advisory matters. She has experience advising on a range of energy and infrastructure projects.

Kate's recent experience includes: 

  • UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and UK Government Investments (UKGI) on all aspects of the structuring and implementation of privatisation of the UK Green Investment Bank (GIB)
  • Ancala in relation to its acquisition of International Energy Group (owner and operator of the gas distribution networks in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man)
  • Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners in joint venture with Burmeister and Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S, on the acquisition and development of the Kent dedicated biomass plant and the Darent gas fired power plant (both in England)
  • the six commercial banks and the European Investment Bank in relation to the €800 million Ijmond Sea Lock PPP project in the Netherlands
