Herbert Smith Freehills is advising COLI Australia, the local division of China Overseas Land and Investment (COLI) on its first Australian residential development – NEUE at 137-143 Herring Road, Macquarie Park, Sydney.
The project will be launched in the first half of 2018 and contain 285 residential units.
COLI, which is listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange, is involved in property development across the world. It is owned by CSCEC, ranked No 24 on the Fortune Global 500 list.
The Herbert Smith Freehills team is being led consultant John Wei and real estate partner Nicholas Cowie with the support of senior associate Japonica Sheridan and licensed conveyancer Lyn McSweeney.
