For this reason, every two weeks, our firm has been publishing a tracker of ESG-related publications and developments, with a primary focus on developments that may be of most interest to or impact our clients, be they corporates, asset managers or asset owners.
Key updates covered in this edition include:
- the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA)’s event regarding EU Taxonomy-related product disclosures, which included proposals presented by the European Supervisory Authorities in relation to the draft Regulatory Technical Standards on the content and presentation of product disclosures under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation;
- the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation’s proposal to amend its constitution to accommodate the potential formation of a new International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) within the governance structure of the organization; and
- the Spanish Congress to hold final debate on the Climate Change and Energy Transition Bill.
