There are so many ESG-related publications and developments that it is hard to keep abreast of them all. For this reason, every two weeks, our firm has been publishing a tracker of ESG-related publications and developments, with a primary focus on developments that may be of most interest to or impact our clients, be they corporates, asset managers or asset owners.
Key updates covered in this edition include:
- The EU’s announcement of its Global Gateway infrastructure development plan;
- The European Commission’s delay to the application of the regulatory technical standards under the E Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation to 1 January 2023
- The Spanish Ministry of Health, together with the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, launched the Strategic Health and Environment Plan aimed at protecting the population from environmental risks; and
- The FCA has proposed that savers in non-workplace pension schemes should be offered ‘default’ funds that take ESG considerations into account in its latest consultation paper.
