There are so many ESG-related publications and developments that it is hard to keep abreast of them all. For this reason, every two weeks, HSF publishes a tracker of ESG-related publications and developments, with a primary focus on developments that may be of most interest to or impact our clients in Spain, be they corporates, asset managers or asset owners.
Key updates covered in this edition include:
- The implementation of the first two climate objectives of the EU Taxonomy Climate Delegated Act;
- The Spanish Government launched the first set of grants under the Strategic Project for the Recovery and Economic Transformation of Renewable Energies, Renewable Hydrogen and Storage (PERTE ERHA), including aids for the development of renewable hydrogen projects and those aimed at piloting projects for energy communities; and
- The Spanish Government approves Royal Decree 47/2022, with the aim of providing a stronger response to the problem of diffuse pollution.
