There are so many ESG-related publications and developments that it is hard to keep abreast of them all. For this reason, every two weeks, our firm has been publishing a tracker of ESG-related publications and developments, with a primary focus on developments that may be of most interest to or impact our clients, be they corporates, asset managers or asset owners.
Key updates covered in this edition include:
- the publication of the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1288, consisting of the regulatory technical standards under the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), in the Official Journal of the European Union;
- the publication by the Joint Committee of the three European Supervisory Authorities of the first annual report on the extent of voluntary disclosure of principal adverse impact under Article 18 SFDR; and
- the Spanish Council of Ministers has approved a Royal Decree Law adopting economic sustainability measures, including, a new Emergency Energy Saving and Efficiency Plan.
