Cameron is a disputes lawyer with experience in commercial litigation including acting on contractual disputes, construction disputes and equity and trusts disputes. 

Cameron has experience acting for corporations, government agencies and individuals in relation to complex commercial litigation in superior courts. 

He has presented on issues of defamation and media law, including providing ad hoq pre-publication advice. 

Cameron’s recent experience includes:

  • defending a principal in a dispute with a major EPC contractor against claims in excess of $100 million relating to a mega infrastructure project in Western Australia
  • advising a trustee in WA Court of Appeal proceedings concerning a multitude of complex trust matters, including breach of trust and the court’s jurisdiction to appoint and remove trustees
  • successfully acting for a trustee in a judicial advice application under the Trustees Act 1962 (WA)
  • acting for a creditor contesting the validity of a deed of company arrangement

 

Background

Cameron graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance.

Cameron is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and in the Federal and High Courts of Australia.
