Erica is an associate in our London disputes practice, with a focus on commercial, corporate and insolvency and restructuring litigation. 

Erica advises on a broad range of commercial litigation matters with a focus on insolvency, financial services and company law disputes, most of which involve complex, multi-jurisdictional issues. Erica also advises clients in the context of potential litigation risks, such as those arising out of corporate transactions or restructurings with a cross-border element.

Erica has worked for various UK and international clients and she has a specific interest in the aviation and TMT sectors.

Background

Erica read law at the University of Hong Kong and graduated with First Class Honours in 2016. After completing her undergraduate studies, Erica undertook the Bachelor of Civil Law at Balliol College, Oxford, and subsequently obtained a Distinction on the Legal Practice Course at BPP University. Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills, Erica worked as a Research Assistant at the Law Commission of England and Wales on the Commercial and Common Law Team.  

Erica trained at the firm and qualified into the London disputes practice in 2021.
