Jasmine is a senior associate in the stamp duty practice, with extensive experience Australia-wide.

Jasmine has experience advising clients on stamp duty Australia-wide in a range of sectors, particularly real estate and infrastructure. Her work involves structuring and implementing transactions, as well as helping clients with risk management, compliance and audit issues.

Jasmine works closely with legal, tax, accounting and valuation experts and has excellent relationships with revenue authorities.

Her experience includes:

  • BHP Group Limited on its restructure and unification of its dual listing on the ASX
  • Ampol on its proposed IPO of a 49% interest in 250 core freehold sites, ultimately sold to a consortium of Charter Hall and GIC
  • Oxford Properties Group on the Sydney Metro Project – Pitt Street (North) Commercial and (South) Residential over-station development
  • Atlassian on the redevelopment of Sydney’s Central Station to deliver the Sydney Innovation and Technology Precinct with the State of NSW
  • Wesfarmers in connection with its restructure and demerger of Coles (Australian Deal of the Year and M&A Deal of Year 2018)
  • NextDC Ltd on its takeover of Asia Pacific Data Centre Group

 

Background

Jasmine has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University. She has practised at Hebert Smith Freehills since 2018. Jasmine also represents Herbert Smith Freehills on the Revenue NSW Law Society Liaison Committee.
