Laura specialises in complex commercial disputes and regulatory engagement.

Laura is an experienced commercial litigator. Her practise focuses on large and complex disputes (including class actions), regulatory investigations and commissions of inquiry. Laura works with clients across a range of industries, with significant experience in the financial sector. 

Laura’s clients have included federal government departments as well as industry leaders including major financial institutions, airlines, insurers and litigation funders.

At a previous law firm, Laura worked as a solicitor assisting the Royal Commissioner John Dyson Heydon AC QC at the Royal Commission into Trade Union Governance and Corruption.

Laura is now based in Melbourne. She attended university in South Australia and practised law for ten years in Sydney.

Laura was a participant in the Law Institute of Victoria’s Advocates for Change group on Sexual Harassment in the Legal Profession.

Background

Laura has a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Adelaide. She is currently admitted in Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
