Herbert Smith Freehills is providing various legal services to Chinese-based Melbourne property developer Jinding Australia, which is focusing on becoming one of Australia’s leading property developers.
Over the past 6 months Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Jinding Australia on the expansion of its development portfolio to over $1.3 billion. The company’s recent acquisitions include:
· a 56 hectare land and housing project in Wollert in Melbourne’s north. Key features will include 6.6 hectares of active space with sporting reserves and 5.4 hectares of parkland, waterways and conservation areas
· a 94 hectare development in Armstrong Creek. The project is located 10 kilometres from the centre of Geelong and 16 kilometres from the coastal town of Torquay. The development will be jointly project managed by Jinding Australia and noted Western Australian developer Yolk Property Group
· a 29 hectare development in Junction Village adjoining Cranbourne in Melbourne’s south-east, which has a permit for 311 land and housing allotments
Jinding Australia specialises in Australian property services for buyers and property partners. They focus on Australian property development, real estate, property and funds management and financial, migration and education services.
