Carmen Muñoz
Carmen joined the firm in September 2021 as a junior associate in the corporate practice, specializing in M&A and private equity.
Before joining the firm as a junior associate, she completed a 12 months full-time internship as a trainee lawyer in the Madrid office in the real estate practice and corporate practice.
Carmen is experienced in providing corporate advice to entities from various industry sectors and private equity firms in national and cross-border acquisition transactions. Her practice also includes advising on a wide range of corporate matters.
Carmen's experience includes advising:
- PAI Partners on the €430 million acquisition of a majority stake in Angulas Aguinaga, owner of La Gula del Norte, Krissia and Aguinamar, from Portobello
- Península Capital on the acquisition of 20% of Galenicum Health, a Spanish leading company specialised in the pharmaceutical, food and nutritional supplement sectors
- P3 Logistics Parks Iberia on the acquisition, from KKR and Pulsar, of a logistic portfolio of more than 100,000 sqm distributed in five logistic warehouses located in Guadalajara, Toledo and Barcelona (Spain) for an amount exceeding €108 million
- a Spanish energy company on the potential acquisition of a majority stake on the share capital of a company focused on the manufacture, marketing and sale of electric scooters and elements and spare parts related to them
Background
Carmen holds a double degree in law (common law and civil law) awarded by the Instituto de Empresa of Madrid.
She also holds a Master's Degree in Legal Practice and LLM awarded by the Instituto de Empresa of Madrid.
In addition to Spanish as her native language, Carmen is fluent in German and English.
