Janusz is an associate in our Dispute Resolution group and specialises in IP law, in particular patent litigation as well as life science law.

Janusz advises national and international companies on all aspects of intellectual property law including litigation as well as transactions. Further, he advises on life science regulatory and contractual matters.

Already during his legal traineeship, Janusz Dziegielewski focused on life science law issues.

Janusz' experience includes advising:

an international group in the electronics/consumer sector on various IP and unfair competition issues,
a biopharmaceutical company on enforcement of a patent against generic products.

Background

Before passing the two legal state-exams in Germany Janusz graduated from the University of Mannheim with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) "Unternehmensjurist" (degree combining law and business studies). During his legal education, Janusz has worked for several leading international law firms as well as a public notary. In addition to his native German he speaks English and Spanish.
