Lily Fitzpatrick

Lily joined our Singapore team in 2015. Lily has extensive experience in information technology and procurement, and has assisted with advising customers and suppliers in Asia on a range of procurements and outsourcings, including for cloud computing services and software licences.

Lily also has experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions and corporate regulatory and advice work. Lily has worked on transactions across a number of industries, including technology, media and telecommunications, in Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.

Lily's experience includes advising: 

• a British multinational banking and financial services company on procuring the IT infrastructure necessary for its new virtual/digital bank in Hong Kong. The matter has involved negotiating over 11 separate IT supply agreements with some of the biggest and most advanced tech companies in the world
• a leading UK retail bank on its strategic partnership with an innovative fintech company to accelerate the digital transformation of the Bank's business, including the procurement of IT infrastructure necessary for a new, cloud-native core banking platform and the Bank's participation in the fintech's Series A investment funding round
• a British multinational banking and financial services company on its largest and most complex IT outsourcing and procurement projects as part of its multi-billion dollar investment programme over several years to transform the bank's technology platforms
• an Australian technology solutions provider on its services agreement with network operators in Singapore for the provision of mobile enterprise messaging services
• a big four UK bank on its Brexit-related insurance business transfer to a new Luxembourg subsidiary, including new outsourcing arrangements with service providers in Germany, Italy and Luxembourg
• a leading oil and gas company on the procurement of technology in relation to the design, construction and operation of a refinery and petrochemical complex in Indonesia
• BHP Billiton on the procurement of a global purchasing card program for employees
• Secondment to Standard Chartered to assist with a commercial and third party contracts refresh and standardisation project across the Bank, as part of a broader electronic contracting and procurement project for the Bank
• Standard Chartered Bank on a contracts refresh and standardisation, as part of a broader electronic contracting and procurement project for the Bank
• Standard Chartered Bank on its acquisition of a cloud-operated big data analytics framework system
• A variety of IT and professional services contracts for Goldman Sachs
• Secondment to Goldman Sachs to assist with the legal review of a variety of IT and professional services contracts
• Bank of China International on a white label service agreement with a service provider
• UBS on the procurement of a core banking software system from Infosys
• Standard Chartered Bank on establishing a panel arrangement with a number of international services providers, including Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Techmahindra and HCL, for the procurement of IT services
• Apple on licensing and regulatory requirements for Apple retail stores and importation of Apple products in various APAC countries
• Standard Chartered Bank on its cloud services agreements with a number of cloud services providers
• Ongoing regulatory filings for Tata and Telefonica
• Thaicom on the legal documents for the build, launch and operation of a Ka-band satellite
• a leading APAC telecommunications company on a variety of matters on the establishment of SaaS offerings across the region.
• Ferring on the terms and conditions and privacy policy of a mobile application
• BHP Billiton on the scope of services under its global professional services framework agreement for Malaysia
• Managing international counsel for an Australian client to provide advice on data protection and privacy regulations in a number of Asian jurisdictions
• Liaising with Malaysian counsel to provide telecommunications regulatory advice for the listing of an Australian telecommunications company on the ASX
• Due diligence support to corporate M&A team on material IT arrangements for various transactions across a number of industries and jurisdictions

• a private equity fund investing in a logistics business in Malaysia
• a global advertising firm on the restructure its business investments in Vietnam
• a confidential investor on its investment in Indonesian based online marketplace, Tokopedia
• St Albans School , a UK based school, in its joint venture with local partners in Singapore for operating the schools in the APAC region and the preparation of the school management agreement
• a multinational company on its investment and business structure in certain Asian jurisdictions
• a joint venture for an underwriting business in Myanmar
• Omnicom on appointing authorised representatives across its global subsidiaries
• Amcor on its proposed acquisition of a printing and packaging business in Indonesia
• Arrow Electronics on its acquisition of the subsidiaries of Distribution Central in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore
