Rebecca is an experienced commercial litigator with particular focus on class actions and regulatory processes.

Rebecca has experience assisting clients with commercial disputes, class action litigation and regulatory processes. She has particular experience in large scale class actions.

Rebecca works with leading Australian and global companies across a range of industries. She has acted in matters in the Supreme Court of Queensland, Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia.

Selected matters:

  • Acting for Bayer in relation to a product liability class action based on the alleged carcinogenicity of glyphosate products.
  • Acting for an energy company defending a class action in relation to the National Electricity Market in the Federal Court of Australia.
  • Advising principals in disputes with EPC contractors on wind farm projects on the east coast of Australia.
  • Advising the Royal Commission into the Victorian Mental Health System 

Background

Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in accounting) and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of Queensland.

Rebecca is admitted in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
