Simon Chadney

Simon is a partner in the London finance practice and co-head of its real estate finance team. He has extensive experience across a broad range of finance transactions acting for borrowers, lenders and other creditors on lending transactions, debt restructurings and insolvencies.  

Simon has particular expertise in secured senior and mezzanine real estate finance and also regularly advises on investment grade financings.  

Simon is recognised as a leading individual by Legal 500 and ranked in band 1 for real estate finance by Chambers.

Simon has acted on numerous development and investment real estate financings over the last 20 years for a range of clients in the UK and across Europe.  Clients he regularly acts for include Deutsche Bank, Deutschepfandbriefbank, Helaba, Lloyds Bank, British Land, Capital and Counties and Hammerson.
