Herbert Smith Freehills hat die österreichische Prolactal GmbH beim Abschluss einer langfristigen strategischen Partnerschaft mit der Biopulver GmbH beraten. Biopulver wird danach Prolactal mit speziellen Milchprodukten als Bestandteilen von Säuglingsnahrung und anderen Lebensmitteln beliefern.
Die Anlage von Biopulver ist eine neu errichtete Produktionsstätte der schweizerischen Mehrheitseigentümerin Holle baby food AG, die seit 85 Jahren biologische Babynahrung herstellt. Die Pulvertrocknungsanlage, die insbesondere der Verarbeitung von Ziegenmilch dient, ist seit Mai 2020 in Betrieb.
Prolactal GmbH ist ein führender Produzent von Milchprodukten aus Bio-Kuh- und Ziegenmilchderivativen für Säuglingsnahrung. 1957 ursprünglich als Molkereigenossenschaft gegründet, gehört Prolactal seit 2015 zu Israel Chemicals (ICL) und beliefert Kunden in über 35 Ländern in den Regionen Asien-Pazifik, Westeuropa und Nahost. Prolactals CO2-neutraler Betrieb liegt in Hartberg, Österreich, mit direktem Zugang zu hochwertiger biologischer Milch und Molke.
